THE REFLEXIVE LENS
A Visual Methodology

My visual practice originated from the engines of the fashion-celebratory-media spectacle.  Today, my photography acts as a reflexive social documentary: A critical visual methodology designed to strip away curated modern myths, exposing the unposed, honest, and deeply empathetic realities that lie beneath the surface of our heavily mediated lives.

COMMUNITY OF CARE
Behind Our Walls: GCHC Ten Years On

To celebrate the ten-year milestone of Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Children, Behind Our Walls offers a raw, unretouched look inside Govan's clinical corridors. Led by Dr Alyson Walker and Prof Paul A. Rodgers, this visual storybook documents the daily lives of the hospital’s 3,500 staff members and families. Supported by the AHRC and the Design Museum’s Future Observatory.

THE COAL FACE
Platform Capitalism & Material Desires

Transitioning from Hollywood spectacle, I led high-volume ecommerce product photography for Amazon as Senior Photographer. This phase evolved into directing and producing branding and ecommerce marketing campaigns for luxury brands and retailers. Eventually, I coached businesses to streamline their ecommerce photography, starting with a brand audit and a blueprint workflow for staff to follow, resulting in strong ROI.

THE SPECTACLE
Celebrity Culture & Curated Identities

For years, my lens captured the front lines of global media. By reflecting back on these highly constructed moments of celebrity spectacle, this archive serves as a quiet socio-cultural critique, investigating how fabricated identities influence our collective aspirations, desires, and consumption habits.
